I'm looking to add a new attorney or two, to our panel. Specifically to cover the Monterey/Santa Clara Counties (Sal & SJO). Looking for high energy, out of the box thinkers, so specifc names would be great versus firms.

I can say whole heartedly that I would recommend the below attorney's for cases venued at the Salinas WCAB. They can make appearances at the San Jose WCAB (although probably not cost effective). They are numbered by preference. My experience with the big firms has not been very succesful, specifically to turnaround time in responses.

While I make occasional appearances in both of these venues for specific clients, I suspect you are looking for locally venued attorneys.

I can recommend Mike Holmes in Salinas. I have know Mike for almost 25 years and he is energetic and very knowledgable. He recently associtated with Luna and Levering in Salinas. Their office is located in the same building as the WCAB.

In San Jose you would be hard pressed to do better than Bill Armstrong who periodically posts in these pages. Both of these attorneys are definately upper echelon defense attorneys.
