Can someone send me an example of an objection to a DOR? the basis for us objecting is the fact that we have no letter of rep from the a.a and no copy of application - and, per the employee, she is not rep'd by the attorney that filed the DOR on her behalf -thanks!

Generally it is a letter to the WCAB. It is not a form objection letter. You specify the reasons for the objection.

You are suppose to do it within ten days to preserve the right to argue over what is predjudicing you.

Maybe you can call A.A and get the required information mailed to you.

If the Attorney does not represent Applicant and is filing the D.O.R maybe then he she can explain the situation.

Applicant's are great people, but not always so sophisticated. It may be the Applicant signed the necessary paperwork to be represented and did not remember or understand it.

You should probably refer it out to a Defense firm since the W.C.A.B will likely set a hearing; even with your objection. The exception would be if improper lack of paperwork is in the Board file ( no Application for Adjudication of Claim, D.W.C -1, Disclosure statement etc.) in which case the W.C.A.B would send out the notice of rejecting the D.O.R.

So what is the original D.O.R about?
